Good things come to those who wait. . .

On December 1, 2007, the much anticipated Ainsley arrived at 3:46 a.m. She arrived 5 weeks early keeping with tradition. She weighed 5 lbs and was 18.5 inches long. She is healthy and just plain beautiful!!! She is so loved by all of us. Tyler and Austin can't leave her alone and Drew just kisses her all the time. If she crys, they are quick to take care of whatever she needs. They talk in these sweet little voices to her....it couldn't be any sweeter. I catch myself trying to stop time, not wanting the clock to tick again. I can't believe this is age is going to be ending soon. They are all so much fun!!
Uncle Doug has held each one of our children when they were born. He has been a friend of our for years and loves our kids as much as they love him. He and his new bride, Riley are expecting their first baby in July! How EXCITING!!!

Monster Mash. . .

It was an exciting Halloween this year. Austin, Tyler and Drew are in school now, so they all had parties. It was also busy. We kicked off our week carving pumpkins at the park with my friend Karla, her husband Dana and their two boys, Tanner and Cody. We had pizza and then Karla and I carved up pumpkins for time. I won this year...do I smell a rematch!!??
Tuesday, we went to Austin's school for Family Night, where more pumpkin carving, cookie decorating and musical chairs filled our evening. They had tacos and nachos for everyone, oh so healthy!!!
Finally, it was Wednesday, Halloween, we had parties, parties and more parties!! They got to touch eyeballs and brains at Tyler and Drew's party. They had a little parade where Tyler showed off being a red Power Ranger and Drew...was our "pun-kin" as he says. Austin decorated pumpkins, made spiders and trick or treat bags. I helped in his class that day as well. It was so much fun to see all the little kids dressed up. He was, of course, a green Power Ranger.
By the time it came time for trick or treating, we barely had enough energy to get up and down two different streets before they asked to be done...THANK GOD!!

Times remembered. . .

Grandpa loves to take his grandchildren fishing...at good fishing holes. Some friends from home, the Whites, have a nice little place perfect for all of us to fish. It's private and there is great fishing. They catch a fish with nearly every cast. They also got to play with worms...EWWW!! The most fun is spending such special time with Grandpa, Uncle Jason and Uncle Josh. There can't be too many things that are more precious to them or me. It's so neat to watch all these boys of all different ages and sizes lined up along the shore, just fishing.

Dad is way more fun than Mom!!!!

Austin and Tyler have enjoyed some really exciting camping trips with just Dad. They went to Tonto National Forrest this past October for three days and two nights. They rode quads, went boating and tubed. They played endlessly on the beach with army men and watched a movie by the fire under stars. HOW FUN!!!

He also took them to the speed boat races around the same time. Can you say horse power? I don't care much for it, but the boys LOVED their day. They played on huge blow up slides, shot paint balls and were also able to sit in some of the boats. They were also adored by the Hooters Girls. Now they know about...the wings!!

Take me out to the ball game. . .

This past fall we took the boys to their first ML baseball game. I can't remember who won...it wasn't really important. They had a blast!! After the game was over, the stadium top was opened and they had fireworks for about 20 minutes....they each got an official MLB ball from a special friend.
